It all began in 2010 as I was planning my wedding, I noticed my hair was becoming dry, brittle and breaking off. I prayed,

“Please let me have enough hair left to put in a bun.”

Thankfully I did and no one suspected a thing. Fast-forward to a month after the wedding, I was so frustrated with my hair, I did the big-chop and cut if all off. No relaxer, no color, all natural. Just me and my head stubble…..what on earth was I thinking.

After search for some type of hair accessories to embolden my new look and confidence, I found none to my liking that were unique, whimsical…me. They we all flimsy, flimsy looking, and uncomfortable. The online options held no reprieve, although I did find a site that sold beautiful hair accessories the prices were ridiculously high.

“Wait a minute, I can sew!”

That my friends is exactly what I did. My first two prototypes garnered so much attention: I kept sewing. The rest was a no brainer, CutiCouture was born in October 2011. Listening to the customers, our signature adjustable headband was designed shortly after.

Now also making satin bonnets, satin scrunchies, head wraps, soft turbans, fascinators and other hair accessories. Our ideas are fluent and clear,

“Never have a bad hair day with a CutiCouture hair accessory!”
